In this step, you store the Tax deduction percentages for employees for each Tax bracket under which their gross salary earnings fall.

Only the higher earnings limit of the tax brackets are stored, and the lower earnings limit is the previous tax bracket's higher earnings limit.

Activities

  1. Check the SAP sample entries.
  2. Delete the entries that are not relevant if the statutory rates have been revised.
  3. If the rates change, you may want to define your own Tax table entries.
    1. Select New entries.
    2. Enter the Higher Earnings Limit of the tax bracket.
    3. Enter the Tax rate.
    4. Enter the effective Start and End dates for the tax bracket.
  4. Save your entries.
