Use
In this step, you define contact information for the person(s) responsible for ROE issues in your enterprise. The Record of Employment (ROE) Workbench extracts the information stored here for inclusion in the respective set of ROE form data. This extracted data is then printed by the external HRSDC software application ROE Laser Print ... or reported within the external HRSDC software application ROE Web ... within:
ROE Block 16 - Reason For Issuing This ROE
ROE Block 21 - Telephone No.
ROE Block 22 - Name of Issuer
If your enterprise has elected to activate the ROE Workbench for productive use with ROE Web, this information is submitted within the same ROE blocks online.
Standard settings
No existing data is delivered with this view within the standard system.
Activities
Execute this IMG step.
In the subsequent dialog box, select the first activity:
Assign HR/Payroll administrators for ROE reporting
On the subsequent screen, configure feature PINCH until each appropriate personnel area has been assigned to a corresponding administrator group. These groups are derived from the three types of personnel administrator that can be specified in the Organizational assignment infotype (0001) - namely, administrators for Personnel Administration, administrators for Time Management, and administrators for Payroll.
In the context of ROE reporting, the administrator(s) for Personnel Administration - or Payroll, or both areas - can be specified for ROE reporting purposes, so that the person(s) who work in the appropriate area(s) and who are responsible for issuing ROEs can be contacted, should questions related to an ROE arise from employees or HRSDC.
For additional information on this process, consult the documentation for feature PINCH.
When you have finished configuring feature PINCH, return to the previous dialog box.
In the dialog box, select the second activity:
Maintain administrator names and telephone numbers
On the subsequent screen, maintain administrator names and telephone numbers for the administrator groups that you defined in the previous activity.
If administrator names and telephone numbers have already been maintained, confirm that this data is correct, and make adjustments, if necessary.
Note
Administrator names must begin with the first name, end with the last name, and contain no middle initials. To illustrate, administrator Warren D. Reed must be recorded as Warren Reed.
Administrator telephone numbers must be entered without hyphens, parentheses, or other punctuation. For example, if administrator Warren D. Reed is to be contacted at (416) 000-1111, extension 7777, then enter 41600011117777 in this field. This field accommodates a maximum of 14 digits.
The fields Title and SAP name are entirely optional. No data stored in these two fields is extracted by the ROE Workbench.
Save any entries or adjustments that you have made, and proceed to the next IMG step.
