In this step, you link the absence/attendance types that you have maintained in the Personnel Administration IMG to the ROE reason codes in use at your enterprise. This linkage ensures that all ROE forms issued for specific absence types reflect the appropriate reason code.

Note

This linkage occurs at the personnel subgrouping level. Consequently, each absence/attendance type must be maintained for every appropriate personnel subgrouping.

Example

To link absence type Sickness with ROE reason code D (Illness or Injury) for personnel subgrouping 07, you would execute this IMG step and make the following entry:

Requirements

You have already maintained:

  1. all relevant absence/attendance types
    (in the Personnel Administration IMG), as well as
  2. any custom ROE reason codes and ROE reason codes
    (in the first step of this IMG chapter)

Activities

  1. Execute this IMG step.
  2. On the subsequent screen, select New entries.
  3. Specify every valid combination of absence/attendance types and ROE reason codes for every appropriate personnel subgrouping.
  4. Save your entries, then proceed with configuration.
