Use
In this step, you link the personnel actions that you maintained in the Personnel Administration IMG with the standard ROE reason codes defined by HRSDC and - where applicable - the custom ROE reason codes defined by your enterprise and recorded in the previous IMG step. This linkage ensures that all ROE forms issued for specific action types reflect the appropriate ROE reason code.
Example
Suppose your enterprise creates a custom ROE reason code K, corresponding to Death of employee. In order to link that code to Personnel Administration data, you would execute this IMG step and make the following entries:
Action Type Act.reason Type ROE Reason Type 10 Leaving 09 Death of EE K Death of EE
Requirements
You have already maintained both of the following:
all relevant personnel action types (in the Personnel Administration Implementation Guide), as well as
any custom ROE reason codes (in the previous step of this chapter)
Activities
Execute this IMG step.
On the subsequent screen, select New entries.
Specify every valid combination of personnel actions and ROE reason codes.
Save your entries, then proceed with configuration.
