In this step, you assign the nine- and ten-digit Registration Numbers contained in the Business Numbers and Quebec Tax IDs, both of your enterprise and of its subsidiaries, to the appropriate company names and reporting addresses. The names and addresses stored here will be accessed by the system during the generation of magnetic media and paper submissions of Year End forms.
Activities
Execute this IMG step. On the subsequent screen, select New entries.
For each Business Number and Quebec Tax ID assigned to your enterprise or its subsidiaries, enter the nine- or ten-digit Registration Number under the Reg Num column.
For each Registration Number entered in step 2., enter the following information under the adjacent columns:
Under Name 1, enter the primary legal name of the corporation.
Under Name 2, if necessary, enter any secondary legal names.
Under Street and house number, enter the reporting address of the corporation.
Under City, Rg and Postal cde, enter, respectively, the city, province and postal code within the reporting address of the corporation.
When you have entered the Registration Numbers, names and reporting addresses of all corporations within your enterprise, save your entries, exit the transaction, and proceed to the next IMG step.
