In this step, you determine average pay calculation rule according to pay type, off-cycle group and employee grouping respectively.
You can specify for the following criteria to meet your requirements.
- Maximum reference months
All payroll results paid from months before separation date are taken into account in average pay calculation.
- Exclude Pay Results in Valuation Month
All payroll results paid in valuation month are not taken into account in average pay calculation.
- Relevancy period and unit
The relevancy period or pay times are to decide whether payroll result is included in average pay or not. Payroll results paid during the relevancy period or up to pay times are evaluated in the average pay calculation.
- Comparable wage type
If cumulated total amount is less than this wage type due to unpaid absence etc, the amount of this wage type will be used in average calculation pay. You may use the common payment wage type.
- Cumulation month
To get the monthly average pay, you divide the cumulated amount by this cumulation month. In case that you specified relevancy period, this period must be identical with the relevancy period.
- Flag for daily base
If you set this, the daily average pay will be calculated by dividing cumulated amount by calendar days of evaluation period; then the monthly average pay is calculated by multiplying daily average pay with 30.
In the case of bonus pay type, irrelevant period will not be taken into account.
- Function for relevancy test
If necessary, you can develop your own relevancy test function with referring the function HRKR_KRSEP_RELEVANCY_TEST_01.
Example
You want to evaluate latest three months regular payroll excluding the payroll result paid in valuation month to calculate monthly average regular pay for one employee grouping To do this, you may set up as below:
- Maximum reference month: 6 (considering irrelevant period)
- Relevancy period: 3
- Relevancy period unit: calendar month
- Cumulation month: 3
Requirements
You have set up off-cycle reason grouping and employee grouping.
Standard settings
You can refer to the sample entries supplied by the standard system.
Recommendation
Activities
