In this step, you determine which groupings are used in calculation rule for average pay when average pay is calculated.
By grouping off-cycle reasons, you can maintain your calculation rules for the average pay.
Example
When you want to compute the latest Chinese New Year bonus and Korean Thanksgiving Day bonus into the average pay calculation, you only need to maintain one calculation rule for both bonus by grouping them together.
The calculation rule for regular payroll and separation liquidation payroll with regular payroll should be the same. By grouping these off-cycle reasons together, you do not need to maintain the calculation rules respectively.
