In this step, you specify the time valuation rule for computing the service period to be used in separation pay calculation based on the employee grouping.
Example
When you set a special date type for the entry date and want to calculate the actual service period starting from that date, you define a time valuation rule for the date type as the evaluation begin date and assign it to separation payroll and/or separation simulation payroll and employee grouping.
Requirements
You should define the time valuation rule that will be used in the calculation of actual service period and set up the corresponding employee grouping.
Activities
Assign time valuation rule to separation payment and separation simulation payroll respectively, then assign it to the employee grouping.
