Description

In this step, you modify and generate the payroll evaluation schema x500 so that it can be used in conjunction with the payroll driver.

General Remittance

For regular remittances this step allows you to customize the evaluation schema as needed.

Tax remittance outsourcing (US only)

Since this IMG step involves a simple modification, one may later forget that the system has been configured to perform tax remittance outsourcing.

Unless and until you reverse this modification, the system will remain configured to outsource tax remittance data to the chosen vendor.

Activities

Carry out the following steps to activate tax remittance outsourcing.

  1. Execute this IMG step: Maintain payroll evaluation schema.
  2. Make changes to the schema as needed.
    For tax remittance outsourcing:
    On the resulting screen, find the following line:

    REMIT 3 P78 P73 * Export individual data of remittance
    To activate tax remittance outsourcing, delete the asterisk.
    Or, to deactivate outsourcing at a later date, re-enter the asterisk.
  3. Generate schema U500.

The system is now configured to outsource the tax remittance process. However, before outsourcing can proceed, you must designate a transmitting tax company. Execute the subsequent step to do so.
