In this step you specify default values for certain fields in the Garnishment order infotype and the Garnishment debt infotype. These values are entered into the corresponding fields when these infotypes are first created. You can still overwrite these fields.
If you have not specified a default value for the jurisdiction in this view, then the Province of employment field of the Canadian tax infotype (224) is read and entered into the jurisdiction field of the infotype. This is done because garnishments are likely to originate from the province where the employee is employed. If you do not wish that the Province of employment field is read, then you should specify an initial value for the default value of the jurisdiction in this view (this can even be an initial value; in this case, it becomes necessary to enter a value in the infotype).
If a default value for the correspondence language is not specified in this view, then the language key of the Personal data infotype (2) is read and entered into the garnishment order infotype.

No default value is specified for the jurisdiction. Therefore the province of employment field of the Canadian tax infotype is read.
