In this process step specific processing classes or their corresponding characteristics can be created so that they can be linked to logic views and used for the wage type maintenance.
New characteristics can also be created for the existing processing classes.
Example
- The processing class 3 (PRCL 3) is used to put the wage types into the result table (RT) after their generation and valuation during the month in which events to be disbursed in the deferred month take place;
- the processing class 68 is used to activate the wage types to be disbursed in the deferred month; the different values of this processing class do not allow the use in various points of the schema;
- the processing class 30 is used to avoid that these wage types are cumulated in the CRT.
Requirements
Standard settings
Processing classes of the SAP standard version are stored in a range from 01 to 89.
The processing class from 90 to 99 are available for specific customer inputs.
Recommendation
SAP recommends not to cancel or change processing classes of the standard version as this could cause errors in the wage type calculation run.
Activities
- Check the inputs that are still free in the customer area;
- Select the processing classes in "Navigation";
- Select "New inputs";
- Determine the evaluation class number and enter a short text.
Further notes
SAP recommends to create new processing classes only in the mentioned customer area, as the inputs are updated in the SAP standard version they can be overridden in the next release change.
