In this step of the Implementation Guide you select the parameters used for grace management in the program and you define the max number of days for the income support that can be indemnified by the Body by 100%, 50% etc. with reference to the mobile time slot of 3 years in the case of the metalworker agreement.
The variables for grace treatment are generated by the program reading this table which, as for illness, can contain values such as that illustrated in the example.
Example
The employee is entitled to a 60-day-sick-leave bonus in the grace time slot up to the length of service of 3 years if sick for more than 21 days. MY94 is the counter of bonus days in the time slot that have already been used. The calculation is carried out by the function module for the administration of sick leave bonus for metalworker grace (transaction SE37).
The settings of table fields will be as follows:
- Field Employee grouping... = 10 (metalworker agreement)
- Field Valuation rule... = 10 (sickness)
- Field Valuation subrule = 01
- Field Apportioning Body = ER (employer)
- Field Length of service = 36 (employee's l.o.s. < 3 years)
- Field Parameter for grace = SLB (sick leave bonus)
- Field Limit value... = 60 (tolerated sick leave bonus days)
- Field Unit of measurement = D (days)
- Field Discriminating period = 0021 (length in days of short event)
- Field Counter wage type = MY94 (counter wage type)
- Field Special function for grace= FU_XNAB_BM (function generating and valuating variable SLB).
Requirements
Standard settings
The table provided by SAP indicates the parameters for grace management of the metalworker agreement. The apportioning Body thus always proves to be the employer.

Activities
Fill the user exits provided in function XNAB or in the schema to manage the variables you want to enter in the table.
Further notes
The customer can add his/her own variables to the ones proposed; in this case he/she will also have to see to writing new functions.
