In this step of the Implementation Guide you edit the table enabling to split an absence into fixed-width intervals.
This operation is complementary to that carried out by the table calculating the grace and allows to determine the compensation and integration percentages due to the absence.
More specifically, this step indicates how much/when INPS pays in case of an employee's sickness and where this data is written.
Function XNAB uses the parameter in this table to split absences into homogeneous time segments.
Example
For an employee belonging to the category of metalworkers, in case of sickness, three sub-time frames are fixed:
- up to the third day - Value 1 corresponding to compensation type x
- up to the twentieth day - Value 2 corresponding to compensation type y
- after the twentieth day - Value 3 corresponding to compensation type z
for which the apportioning Body (for example social security - INPS) is bound to indemnify the absence.
The value corresponding to these three time frames is written in table COVER of cluster PC, into field Reimbursement range.
Taking as an example the settings of standard SAP table, the string corresponding to the first sub-time frame must be read as follows:
up to 3 days of sickness the tab.cover of cl.pc is marked by writing in the field grasi val.1 INPS pays what is found in the field COVER what is found in the field Field value COVER.

Further notes
Value 999 or 9999 in fields having 3 or 4 numeric fields respectively, indicates an open time frame, without an upper limit.
