If your organisation provides Occupational Sick Pay (OSP) schemes for employees, you must define these schemes in this step.
OSP processing will allow you to determine the OSP payments you make for employees when they are absent from work due to illness. This means you can offset the Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) you have paid an employee against the company sick pay, provided that the payments have been made for the same day.
You may want to offset SSP for the following reasons:
This will allow you to differentiate SSP and OSP for costing purposes
Your organisation may have contracted out of SSP

Choose New entries.
Specify a four-character OSP scheme type and enter a descriptive text in the OSP scheme name field.
Enter the validity period of this scheme.
Save your entries.
Repeat the above steps for the other scheme types.
