In this step, you set up parameters to determine how the system processes VHI policy wage types in payroll.

Requirements

Ensure that the relevant VHI policy wage type(s) have been copied to your wage type range (as indicated in the previous step) before performing this step.

Activities

  1. Select a wage type.
  2. Choose 'Details'.
  3. Set the appropriate indicator (if necessary).

Note: The default entries have been maintained such that if an employee has more than one policy, each wage type will be listed separately in the RT.

  • Model wage type D110 (one VHI policy) cumulation 9.
  • Model wage type D111 (two VHI policies) cumulation 8.
  • Model wage type D112 (three VHI policies) cumulation 7.

If employee contributions to VHI policies should not be listed separately, but rather combined in the RT, set the indicator per wage type to cumulation 9.

  1. Save your entry.

Further notes

You can only set one indicator per wage type for cumulation to the RT during payroll.

Maintain employee VHI policy information in infotype VHI Contributions Ireland (0386).
