In this activity you create individual wage types for tax deduction calculation by copying the SAP template wage types.
These copies are the wage types that are used for further processing and can be adjusted to customer requirements.
Here you can only copy wage types required for tax deduction.
Activities
For the wage types copied, only use the default name range (all wage types starting with a digit). Never copy wage types to the SAP model wage type area (i.e., all wage types starting with a letter or a special character).
Create the copy wage types for tax deductions by:
- copying the wage type catalogue
- creating prototype wage types.

Consider that model wage type copies, i.e. user-defined ones, copy both characteristics of on-line processing and characteristics of SAP model wage type calculation. Subsequently you can check and, if needed, adjust individual wage type characteristics concerning on-line processing.
