Deductions for dependent family members are calculated on a monthly basis and are due from the month in which the required conditions arose up to the month in which they ceased.
Example
If a child is born on 24 October, the monthly amount is due for the whole month October and of course for the following months. This is also valid if the employee is hired during the month: he/she is entitled to the whole monthly amount for dependent family member deductions.
Requirements
The number of family members must be indicated in infotype 0160.
Standard settings
If you click on each table element, another view is displayed where you should specify the income brackets and the amount, according to the number of family members (see also the documentation related to the table on direct employment deductions).
