Pay rules for maternity action management are defined in this step.

Employees receive a daily maternity allowance, even if they are employed on the basis of a vocational training agreement or they are trainees, workers, clerks and similar categories, cadres and managers in the agricoltural branch. The daily maternity allowance amounts to:

  • 80% of the daily total average remuneration for mandatory leave periods.
  • 30% of the daily total average remuneration for optional leave periods.

The integration amount is determined in the agreement.

Remember that the system proceeds in the following way to calculate the daily average remuneration necessary for INPS allowance:

  • payroll for the work made: basic pay + due variables - withholding variables - withholding for new hired employees;
  • daily wage calculation: remuneration for the work made / month standard days;
  • daily wage calculation/accruals: (accrual amount 1-4 / accrual standard days);
  • daily average payroll: daily wage + daily wage/accruals multiplied by INPS (Social Security) reimbursement percentage.
