This step defines all significant information for sickness action processing, according to which INPS (Social Security) defines the reimbursement parameters.

Workers and employees assigned to trade are entitled to a daily sick pay up to:

  • 50% of the total daily average remuneration for refundable days from 4th up to 20th sickness day;
  • 66,66% of the total daily average remuneration from the 21st sickness day, if the same sickness lasts over 20 days.
  • No reimbursement is paid in case the total number of sickness days exceeds 180 days within a calendar year.
