In this step you define the family allowance indicator which is allowed according to INPS regulations (INPS=National Social Security).
Standard indicators AF01, AF02, AF03, AF04 refer to the family type and specify the family members who are entitled to the allowance.

Further notes
You always consider the family unit of the employee who applies for the allowance. As a consequence, the following family members are to be identified, also for the purpose of income formation, provided that they live in Italy:
- the employee who applies for the family allowance
- his/her husband/wife who are not legally and actually separated
- his/her underage children and similars;
- legitimate children, legitimated children, adopted children, foster children, illegitimate children and legally recognized children;
- disable children of age
Underage children and similars, and disable children of age are part of the applicant's family, even if they do not live with him/her and are not dependent.
