In this step, you check the coding of the wage types that are used for cumulation and storage during off-cycle payroll runs.
The processing class for these wage types is 60. This processing class is used to control the time wages types used in the end-of-year payment processing. Any payments that are processed during a normal payroll run should not be included in this wage type group.
Only nominal wage types, such as a valuation basis, should remain.

Check that the coding of the listed wage types meets your organization's requirement. To make any changes to the processing class specifications of a wage type:
- Select a wage type and choose the Detail button on the taskbar.
- Specify a validity period.
- Change the specifications of the processing class for the wage type.
- Save your entries.
