Employees who have tax-exempted incomes due to housing allowances or overseas travel allowances, must submit receipts for these expenses. These receipts will be entered into the system, via the Receipts infotype (0440), in order to determine the actual amount of the allowance accumulated within the valid tax year.

As we need to verify that these receipts are dated within the tax year, you have to specify the valid dates for a tax year for a tax reporting grouping.

In this step, you define the time period for which tax receipts are valid for the specified tax year. You can specify the tax year for different tax report grouping.

Example

The tax year for 1997 is from 1 April 1996 to 31 Mar 1997.
