In this step, you set up the criteria used to determine the default employee's and employer's contribution percentages for the retirement scheme. The criteria are:

  • the employee's age
  • the employee's length of service
  • the employee's salary

You will set up each criterium as a set of groupings, each grouping consisting a specific range of values.

Example

With the employee's age criterium, you have the following groupings:

AGR1 Employee must be less than 19 years old
AGR2 Employee must be between 19 and 65 years old inclusive
AGR3 Employee must be above 65 years old

Activities

  1. Create the number of criteria groupings that you need. This allows you to group the criteria according to the different employee groupings in your company.
  2. Create the different employee's age groupings needed. You must create a set of grouping for each criteria grouping created previously.
  3. Create the different employee's length-of-service groupings needed. You must create a set of grouping for each criteria grouping created previously.
  4. Create the different employee's salary groupings needed. You must create a set of grouping for each criteria grouping created previously.
