In this step, you create your Absence Evaluation Scheme identifiers and give each a description.

Example

If you operate an OSP and an OMP scheme, you should include them in the same Absence Evaluation Scheme. At a lower level, the rules for entitlements can be separated into different absence groupings for sickness and maternity.

The schemes created should be for employee groups with different "Terms & Conditions" (i.e. Salaried, Waged & Casual employees). This implies creating three schemes:

  1. SALARY "Salary Scheme"
  2. WAGES "Wages Scheme"
  3. CASUAL "Casual Scheme"

  1. 08SALARY Scheme for employees paid salaries
  2. 08WAGES Scheme for employees paid wages
  3. 08CASUAL Scheme for employees paid casual payments
