In this step, you attach the "Nil Pay Default" valuation rule to a scheme.

Example

Your scheme rules do not require you to keep an accurate record of Nil pay, just the fact that an absence or part of an absence received Nil pay.

In this way, the same Nil pay valuation rule can be used for any type of absence when the employee has used all their normal entitlements.

Requirements

The "Nil Pay Default" valuation rule must be set up in Customizing, but it is pre-delivered by SAP.

Standard settings

Recommendation

Simply use the "Nil Pay Default" valuation rule provided, no further benefit is derived from creating a customer-specific rule.
