Use
In this activity you can define the amount which will be used as a default car allowance in infotype 'Company Car' for essential users. This amount depends on the car manufacturer and the car model.The default allowance will be read dynamically for every employee. It can be overwritten manually and will then be stored on the emplolyee level in infotype 'Company Car'.
The amount is linked to a payment model stored on the employee level in infotype 'Company Car'. It is therefore necessary to set up a payment model which reflects the payroll frequency and the cumulation type of the car allowance. For example, if the amount in this table should be regarded as an annual amount, the corresponding payment model model must have cumulation type 'Y'.
Payroll function P0442 evaluates the car allowance by assigning the payment model and other features defined in table 'Wagetypes for payroll function P0442' (T51CB).
The settings for the payment model can be done in the international section of IMG under: Personnel Management, Personnel Administration, Payroll Data, Company Car.
