In this activity you determine which periods are to be used for valuation according to the principle of averages.

As a rule, the periods which lie immediately before the current payroll period are used for average valuation. If these periods are not to be taken into account because, for example, an employee was absent throughout and the period is therefore not representative for average valuation, a relevance test can be used to query such data. Each period is assigned the status "relevant" or "irrelevant".

Standard settings

Each period is marked as relevant in personnel calculation rule X017.

Activities

  1. Check whether you require a relevance test. If not, use personnel calculation rule X017. If yes, proceed with the following steps.
  2. Check which criteria must be fulfilled for a period to be used in average valuation
  3. Copy rule X017 in rule Z017
  4. Create a relevance test in rule Z017 according to your criteria
