If you employ persons subject to the collective agreement for metal workers (Parake), you need to group all pay scale types that you are using to represent this collective agreement by assigning internal pay scale type '02' to them. This assignment is purely technical and enables the system to identify Parake-type employees in the Finish payroll during time wage type valuation when records for different payments are processed.
Standard settings
In the SAP standard system, pay scale type 'Metal' is the only pay scale type used for the collective agreement for metal workers. This explains why the internal pay scale type '02' is assigned only to this pay scale type.
Recommendation
You should already have set up your pay scale types in the step Check Pay Scale Type.
Activities
Assign internal pay scale type '02' to all pay scale types that you use for the collective agreement for metal workers.
