Use
DADS-U is the result of the merging of the following declarations:
- DADS Social Data Transfer (TDS)
- DADS Supplementary Pension Institution (IRC)
- DADS Pension Institutions (IP)
This merging required of companies is one of the measures taken by the Government to simplify administrative procedures in 1999.
The DADS-U uses interdependent modules to collate all of the data to be declared in a single message addressed to a single contact person who then checks and sends out this data to the relevant agencies.
Concept of filtering
To enable both senders and receivers to progressively adapt to this norm, a number of message types flow from the main message. It is hence possible to issue:
- a complete DADS-U TDS + IRC and IP declaration
- a DADS-U TDS declaration alone
- a DADS-U IRC declaration alone
- a DADS-U IP declaration alone
- a DADS-U IRC and IP declaration alone
- a DADS-U declaration to the Building and Public Works (BTP) paid leave funds
The receivers of the DADS-U, such as
- the tax authorities
- Social Insurance
- supplementary pension
- pension
- CNBTP
receive the relevant data on
- the senders
- the companies
- the places of work
- the employees
This breakdown is based on structures. The structures that make up the DADS-U are as follows:
S10 Identification of the sender of the dispatch, reported company or third-party declarant
S20 Identification of the reported company
S30 Identification of the employee or beneficiary of fees
S41 The employee's activity period
S42 Supplementary pension or other basic plan (CNRACL)
S44 Supplementary pension institutions
S45 Collective pension
S46 The employee's inactivity periods
S51 Contribution elements for insurance
S53 RAFP
S66 Elements to take into account for entitlement to BTP paid leave
S70 Fees
S80 Identification of places of work, whether they have employed workers or not over the year
S90 Total sent (items, structures)
General formula of the norm
The DADS-U is constructed as follows:
Structure (e.g. S10)
Group (e.g. S10.G01)
Subgroup (e.g. S10.G01.00)
Item (e.g. S10.G01.00.001)
Subitem (e.g. S10.G01.00.001.001)
Each item or subitem contains the following information:
- a name
- a comment (possibly with an association list of values and checklist)
- a usage (O = MANDATORY, C = CONDITIONAL, F = OPTIONAL)
- a type (X for ALPHANUMERIC, N for NUMERIC, D for DATE (DDMMYYYY)
- a length (n for a FIXED length of "n" characters...n for a length of up to n characters)
The amounts fields are divided into two subitems:
- the first contains the amount. E.g. S41.G01.00.029.001 Gross social insurance basis
- the second contains the sign. E.g. S41.G01:00.029.002 Gross social insurance basis sign
The only possible value of the sign is N when the amount is negative. Subitem 002 is absent when the amount is positive.
Fiscal items (S41.G01.00.035 and S41.G01.00.063) are only admitted if their annual total has a positive or nil balance.
Consistency check
These checks are specified in the technical specifications.
Business check
These are the checks that each recipient agency performs on the elements of the declaration.
Remuneration received during inactivity periods (maintenance of structure S41 G01 subgroup 00)
The system searches for all sums paid following the departure of the employee. Sums considered as isolated sums for AGIRC are not taken into account in this subgroup. Reason codes 095 and 096 delimit this period.
Maintenance of isolated sums for AGIRC (maintenance of structure S41 G01 subgroup 04)
All sums considered as isolated sums for AGIRC are assigned to this subgroup.
