Functionality

The different steps of this chapter allow you to set your absences by assigning groups of criteria to them.
These settings are then used as the basis for the BAdI HR_PAY_06_REF_PERIOD. This BAdI adapts the absence quota settlement period to the set criteria.

Example

A company calculates the absence quota settlement period over 12 months. The following special cases are processed differently:

• if the length of service of the employee is 20 to 25 years, and they are aged 50 or over, the period is reduced by 1 month.
• if the length of service of the employee is over 25 years, and they are aged 55 or over, the period is reduced by 2 months.
  
  

In all events, if the employee has already been certified unfit for work in the settlement period in question, the days already compensated will be settled over a period of 18 months.
