This activity enables you to create the "1/10th rate" calculation used to valuate paid leave so that it can be displayed on the pay slip.
Description
The "1/10th rate" calculation uses the employee's entitlement to paid leave over the year (June - May) and the total gross wage since June 1.
Rule FC08 calculates the 1/10th rate and stores it in technical wage type /006.
The rule then compares the "1/10th rate" with the day rate stored in technical wage type /002. It then stores the better of the two rates in wage type /007.
Requirements
The leave entitlement must already be stored as a time wage type (M195) in table LZ (IMG activity Time in lieu and split leave.
If there is no wage type M195 in the table, the system cannot calculate the "1/10th rate" and the day rate is used to valuate the leave.
Standard settings
Wage type M195 (Paid leave entitlement) is delivered with the standard SAP system.
Rule FC08 is also delivered with the standard system.
Activities
If you want to use another wage type instead of M195:
- Copy rule FC08 to $C08
- Replace rule M195 with your new wage type
