This activity determines the official scale applicable to the calculation of the garnishable segment of pay.

As this scale may change based on its scope of application, a location modifier is used to assign your personnel areas and sub-areas (company, branch/facility).

Example

In metropolitan France, the official scale for garnishment is published in the Journal Officiel and includes six levels of compensation.
In New Caledonia, a seven-level scale is applied in accordance with local legislation.

Activities

  1. Create a location modifier for each applicable scale.
  2. Assign the location modifiers to the personnel area/sub-area combinations for purposes of grouping per applicable scale.
