In this section you define absence quotas according to your company's requirements and the employee's status.

Standard settings
DM: Deduction method
o Indicator 'F': Length of service with the company is calculated on
the first day of the absence period. The valid quota is called up
from table T5F2M with this value and compared with the personal
calendar.
o Indicator 'L': Length of service with the company is calculated on
the last day of the absence period. The valid quota is called up
from table T5F2M.
The table entry is checked against both these values.
AI: Deduction period indicator
In table 5F2M the number of days is stated according to length of
service and absence category. These days can be deducted during the
following three periods:
o A Deduction during the calendar year
o B Deduction during the last 12 months
o C Deduction based on the value 'DDMM' of the entry date
For example:
01/02/1991 (entry date)
Deduction is based on the value 01/02 of the current year.
AQ: Absence quotas
If several absence quotas are used within one deduction period, you need to determine how the system should react. At present, two options are supported:
'A' if the deduction is not to exceed the largest quota
'B' if each absence is to be deducted separately per quota
