In the Implementation Guide to 'Personnel Administration', you grouped your employee groups and subgroups on the one hand and your personnel areas on the other for primary wage types.
In this IMG activity you will now define which of these groupings can be entered for each wage type.
Example
The wage type 'Vacation allowance' is only admissible for employee grouping '9' (i.e. can be entered). You have already defined which employee groups and subgroups make up grouping '9'. You must now set the appropriate indicator in column '9' of the block 'Admissibility for employee subgroup grouping'.
The wage type 'Severance pay' can only be entered in personnel area grouping '9'. You have already defined which personnel areas make up this grouping. You must now set the appropriate indicator in column '9' of the block 'Admissibility for personnel area grouping'.
Requirements
- You should already have defined your employee groups and subgroups.
- You should have defined your personnel areas.
- You should have grouped your employee groups, subgroups and personnel areas for primary wage types.
- You should have created your wage type catalog for special payments.
Standard settings
The indicator in the above example must be '1' if you specify that a wage type is allowed without a warning or a note. The indicator must be '2' if the system is to display a warning when users enter the wage type.
If you leave a blank in the corresponding position in the admissibility string, this means 'Entry not allowed'.
Recommendation
We advise you to use this functionality, as it can increase plausibility when entering wage types.
Activities
Enter the appropriate indicators for your wage types if applicable.
Further notes
If you have not grouped your employee groups, subgroups and personnel areas, blanks in the admissibility string mean that no check on admissibility is to be carried out.
