In this IMG activity, you define the type of entitlement period for recurring special payments.
The entitlement period indicates the time interval over which entitlements to special payments are set up. These are then paid at a certain time.
If the entitlement period is fixed (F), the start and end of the period are the same for each employee; they may, for example, represent a calendar year.
No other specifications for a type of entitlement period are used in the standard system. Hence, specification F has been preset for
all special payment wage types.
Example
Christmas bonuses have a fixed entitlement period that is the same as a calendar year. Here you must therefore enter an F.
Requirements
You should already have determined the special payment variant for all special payment wage types.
Standard settings
A fixed entitlement period has been preset for all special payment wage types.
Activities
Define the type of entitlement period for each special payment wage type. If, as preset in the standard system, you only have fixed entitlement periods, then you do not need to make any settings here.
Further notes
You do not need to make any settings for event-triggered special payments in this step.
The alternative specification D for an entitlement period dependent on the length of service in the company is not fully implemented, and should therefore not be used.
