In this operation phase you set up the constant valuation basis based on collective agreement.
Example
An entry in table 'Pay scale groups', for the fields listed below, has the following values:
PSType PSArea Grpg PSGrp Lv WType Amount
01 01 01 XY 9000 20.00
This means that wage type 9000 has an amount of 20.00 in the specified currency for the specified pay scale type, pay scale area and employee subgroup grouping for collective agreement provision, regardless of the pay scale level.
In a second example, table 'Pay scale groups' contains the following values for the following fields:
PSType PSArea Grpg PSGrp Lv WType Amount
01 01 01 XY 1 9000 20.00
01 01 01 XY 2 9000 30.00
01 01 01 XY 3 9000 40.00
These entries indicate that wage type 9000 is valuated with a different amount in the specified currency depending on the pay scale level when the pay scale type, pay scale area and employee subgroup grouping for collective agreement provision are the same.
Standard settings
SAP standard version contains model entries which you can use as a template when making your own entries.
Activities
- Check whether you want wage types to be valuated constantly according to pay scale levels.
- Define the value per wage type and pay scale level.
Note that it is possible to perform a valuation with a collective agreement-dependent constant, regardless of the pay scale level.
Further notes
Note the various collective agreement provisions of the employee subgroup grouping that have been determined when defining the specific employee subgroup.
