Processing absences relevant to Social Insurance accounting for deferred periods implies cuting off or reducing certain wage types for the month in which the absences are processed.

In this IMG activity you can define the wage types to be reduced in situations of temporary incapacity.

Example

An employee's basic salary and seniority has to be reduced on the basis of the number of days he or she was actually active during the payroll period of the absence.

The employee will recieve economic assistance and, eventually, bonus payments for the temporary incapacity days.

Requirements

You must previously have defined the wage types used in your company.

Standard settings

SAP contains model entries.

Recommendation

Adjust the SAP model entries according to your needs.

Activities

  1. Check the SAP model entries.
  2. Adjust the entries or create new ones according to your needs.
    1. For each wage type, specify whether it must be cut off in payroll periods in which an TI absence is processed, in order to reflect the number of days actually worked in the previous payroll period.
    2. Check that the processing class 63 has the correct value.
