Workers covered by the Bank Agreement who do not live on the Spanish mainland are entitled to receive the <LB'cost-of-living allowance'.

You can use this IMG activity to define:

  • the constant amount for valuating the cost-of-living allowance,
  • the automatic generation and calculation of said allowance.

Example

A worker under the Bank Agreement who lives in the Balearic Islands will receive a cost-of-living allowance equivalent to 30% of the corresponding constant amount.

Requirements

You must previously have defined a model wage type for the cost-of-living allowance.

Standard settings

There is a SAP model wage type for the cost-of-living allowance.

Recommendation

Modify the SAP model wage type according to your needs.

Activities

  1. Check the SAP model wage type.
  2. If you want to define your own spcific wage type for the cost-of-living allowance, follow the steps below:
    1. Replace model wage wage type BPRE, which is located under payroll modifier 01 in the standard SAP system, with the wage type you defined earlier.
    2. Enter the constant amount corresponding to the cost-of-living allowance.
    3. Copy standard rule EBPR in rule ZBPR.
    4. For each payroll type, replace model wage BPRE with your own wage type.
    5. Change the call to rule EBPR in subschema ECB0 to ZBPR.

Further notes

If you do not want to change the 'cost-of-living allowance wage type, you can use the model wage type BPRE and standard rule EBPR directly.
