When you process absences that are relevant to social insurance using deferred period processing, the following situation may occur:
- an employee is on leave due to temporary incapacity,
- this same employee leaves the company while there are still benefits pending recovery from Social Insurance.
In this IMG activity you can define the wage types that display economic assistance arising from TI situations where the employee leaves the company, in deferred month processes.
Example
An employee is on leave from the company due to non-industrial disease from the 15th of January to the 20th of March of the same year.
Because his contract expires, this employee leaves the company on the 31st of March.
The company processes absences relevant to the social insurance calculation using deferred period processing.
Requirements
You must previously have defined the wage types that are used to form economic assistance paid to employees in situations of TI where the employee leaves the company, with deferred period processing of the temporary incapacity situation.
Standard settings
SAP contains model wage types for the following benefits:
- Non-industrial disease, paid by social insurance
- Industrial disease and industrial accident
- Maternity
Recommendation
Use the SAP model wage types whenever possible.
Activities
- Check the SAP model wage types.
- Change the wage types or define new ones according to your needs.
- Copy standard rule ERPD into rule ZRPD.
- In rule ZRPD, replace the model benefits wage types with the wage types that you defined earlier.
- Replace the call to rule ERPD in subschema EILD with ZRPD.
Further notes
If you do not want to change the benefits wage types, omit points 2 to 4 and use standard rule ERPD directly.
