In this IMG activity you can define the wage types that will display the social insurance ecomomic assistance amount in temporary incapacity situations, for deferred periods.

Requirements

You must previously have defined the wage types used to form economic assistance when an employee is in a situation of temporary incapacity.

Standard settings

SAP contains model wage types for the following benefits:

  • Non-industrial disease, compulsory benefit charged to the company
  • Non-ndustrial disease, benefit charged to Social Insurance
  • Industrial disease and industrial accident
  • Maternity

Recommendation

Use the SAP model wage types whenever possible.

Activities

  1. Check the SAP model wage types.
  2. Adjust the wage types or define new ones according to your needs.
  3. Copy standard rule ECPD into rule ZCPD.
  4. In rule ZCPD, replace the model wage types with the wage types that you have previously defined.
  5. Replace the call to rule ECPD in subschema EILD with ZCPD.

Further notes

Omit points 2 to 4, inclusive, and use standard rule ECPD directly if you do not want to change the benefits wage types.
