In this IMG activity you can define the calculation method to be used for calculating the standard wage maintenance.
Example
The company guarantees temporarily incapacitated employees 100% of their income.
Requirements
You must previously have defined:
- the wage types used to form the standard wage maintenance daily basis
- the calclation method for the standard wage maintenance daily basis.
Standard settings
A standard SAP calculation method is provided.
The standard SAP method calculates a standard wage maintenance amount for each of the intervals into which the absence is broken down. It guarantees 100% of the payments that form the standard wage maintenance daily basis.
Recommendation
Adjust the standard calculation method according to your needs.
Activities
- Check the standard SAP calculation method.
- Adjust the method or define a new one according to your needs.
Copy the standard rule ECGD into rule ZCGD. - Change the standard wage maintenance calculation method for each payroll type in rule ZCGD. You can define different calculation formulas using a decision tree.
- Replace the call to rule ECGD in subschema EILD with ZCGD.
Further notes
If you do not want to change the standard SAP calculation method, omit points 2 to 4 inclusive and use standard rule ECGD.
Note that there may be overlaps between between absences due to holiday leave and temporary incapacity.
