When the company processes the absences relevant to the Social Insurance calculation in deferred periods, there are several options available for processing economic assistance:
- In the current payroll period, the economic assistance corresponding to the previous payroll period is processed, regardless of the number of calendar days in the processed period.
- In the current payroll period, you process, at most, the economic assistance corresponding to the number of calendar days in the processed period, so that any outstanding assistance:
- is taken into account in the next payroll period
- is lost.
In this IMG activity, you define the method to use in trimming assistance when the absences relevant to the Social Insurance calculation is processed in deferred periods. In the SAP system, this function is carried out through the SCRDI constant.
Note:
This constant replaces the ECRDI function.
Example
A worker is on temporary incapacity due to an industrial accident from 2 January 1999 to 31 March of the same year.
The company processes the absences relevant to the Social Insurance calculation in the deferred period.
In February you recover 29 days' worth of economic assistance from Social Insurance. You process the outstanding day in March.
Requirements
Standard settings
In the standard system, the SCRDI constant has the value '3', i.e., in each payroll period you recover economic assistance up to a maximum of the number of calendar days in the period.
Recommendation
Modify the standard SAP setting according to your needs.
Activities
- Check the standard SAP settings, taking into account the possible values of the SCRDI constant.
- If necessary, assign the corresponding value to the constant.
Note:
Remember that customer constants must start with 'Z'. If you change the value of a standard SAP constant, you run the risk of SAP overwriting the value in a future release or system update.
