In this step, you determine whether the system should check the employee's time pair for the existance of core night work. This takes place in the function KNTAG in schema TC00.
Example
Requirements
Standard settings
The system checks whether a time pair includes the time 12:00 a.m. (midnight), or whether a time pair ends at 12:00 a.m. and a new one starts at 12:00 a.m. If an attendence pair starts before 12:00 a.m. and an attendence pair ends after 12:00 a.m., the system gives an indicator for core night work.
Recommendation
Activities
Check whether core night work exists in your company.
Determine which time pairs with which processing types should be checked for core night work. If the processing type is not "S", "M" oder "K", you must enter this type as the third parameter of the function KNTAG.
Further notes
The processing type "K" is used to indicate times which are not planned work or overtime but which are relevant for the determination of core night work. A typical example for this are breaks.
If you use both payroll accounting and the management of working times (time management), the accounting periods of both components must be identical so that the function KNTAG can be established correctly.
