Use

In this IMG activity, you can assign an ID number to the exception indicator (for example, exception: 0011 Senior Physician of General Medicine). You use this ID number to assign persons to a line in the hospital statistics.

This ID number contains the record type, row, and column and is structured as follows:

Hospital statistics consist of record type 30
(medical staff) and record type 31 (non-medical staff),
meaning that this field must contain either the
value 0 (for 30) or 1 (for 31)

Example

Exception(exception indicator    '0011' General senior physicians
internal indicator '003002'

This means that a case with the 'exception indicator' '0011' should be counted in record type '30' (1st postion of 003002),
in line '030'(position 2-4 of 003002) and
in column '02' (position 5-6 of 003002).

The exception indicator can be preset using the following features:

  • Job ('Assign Exception Indicator to Job' table)
  • Type of service ('Assign Exception Indicator to Types of Service' table)
  • The 'Public Sector Statistics' information type in the 'Exception indicators' field

Activities

If you transfer the delivery entries, no further activity is necessary.

  1. If you have set up jobs and need to assign them to hospital statistics, then you must define an exception indicator for these jobs, and determine and maintain the internal indicator (record type, line, column).
  2. Choose Save.
