You can use report Batch Input for Subsequent Funds in Infotype Social Insurance (0013) (in the menu under Payroll -> Period-independent -> Payroll-Related Area -> Social Insurance -> Enter Successor Insurance Fund) to enter successor funds for employee funds in the master data. There are two options:

Activities
The subsequent administration for locked funds can be used if a successor fund is also to be used for retroactive accounting in the validity period of the old fund. A typical example is the merger of two health insurance funds. A fund transfers to the new fund on the key date. For retroactive accounting for the old period, the successor fund is to be read in evaluations, for example, for the statement of contributions paid.
The subsequent administration cannot be used if the delimited fund is still to be valid for old periods. In this case, on the key date, you only need to enter the new fund in the master data (infotype 0013). The report then determines the successor fund from a feature that you can maintain in this step.
Example
For example, it is necessary to use the feature if, as a result of the approximation of laws West/East, you want to enter the successor funds for your East funds in infotype 0013. For evaluations, these successor funds are only to be used as of the key date (usually 01/01/2002). Therefore, the subsequent administration for locked funds is not suitable.
