SI attributes enable you to specify individual features for employees for SI accounting. All the special employee subgroups required by law that cannot be represented by means of the SI keys must be recorded using the SI attributes that can be enteredin infotype 0013.
Example
There is a distinction between primary attributes (attributes 01 - 19) and secondary attributes (20 - 39). Employees may only be assigned one primary attribute - they is either an active employee, a pensioner or an early retiree. However, employees can be assigned as many secondary attributes as you wish - in terms of their health insurance, they can be both a privately insured person and a multiple recipient.
Recommendation
Pay attention to the combination string when creating a new SI attribute. If two attributes entered in infotype 0013 cannot be combined, the system will display an error in the infotype.
