Use
Within the Accident Insurance Modernization Act (UVMG), the workers# compensation association data for the periods from 2009 must be reported in the DEUEV notification.
In this Customizing activity you use subapplication BG01 (Company Data for Workers' Compensation Association) to enter the workers' compensation association responsible for the enterprise and the enterprise's membership number for this workers' compensation association.
Furthermore, in this Customizing activity, you can (choose to) use the subapplication BG02 (Hazard Pay Area for Workers' Compensation Association) to suggest hazard pay areas for a personnel area.

Personnel area reporting
Use the subapplication BG01 (Company Data for Workers' Compensation Association) for the following settings:
- Specify the company data for the responsible workers# compensation association in Customizing for Payroll: Germany under Personnel Area Reporting in the Customizing activities Define Reporting Personnel Area and Assign Reporting Personnel Area Directly.
- In Customizing, under Payroll: Germany -> Personnel Area Reporting, use the Customizing activity Enter Data on Reporting Personnel Area to enter the data for the responsible workers' compensation association.
- Choose New Entries and enter the personnel area reporting.
- In the Data for Workers' Compensation Association group box, define the responsible institution for the statutory accident insurance (AI institution) as well as the enterprise#s membership number with the responsible AI institution.
You do not need to make any entries in the other group boxes. - Choose Save.
The data is reported in DEUEV notifications in data module DBUV (Accident Insurance) in the fields DBUV-BBNRUV (Company Number of Responsible Accident Insurance Institution) and DBUV-MNR (Membership Number of Company at Associated AI Institution).
Use the subapplication BG02 (Hazard Pay Area for Workers' Compensation Association) for the following settings:
- Specify the hazard pay area data for the responsible workers# compensation association in Customizing for Payroll: Germany under Personnel Area Reporting in the Customizing activities Define Reporting Personnel Area and Assign Reporting Personnel Area Directly.
- In Customizing, under Payroll: Germany -> Personnel Area Reporting, use the Customizing activity Enter Data on Reporting Personnel Area to enter the data for the hazard pay area.
- Choose New Entries and enter the personnel area reporting.
- In the Hazard Pay Area group box, define the responsible workers# compensation association and the hazard pay scale.
You do not need to make any entries in the other group boxes. - Choose Save.
A hazard pay area is suggested for the chosen personnel area, meaning that payroll assumes that all employees in this personnel area belong to the same hazard pay area. Therefore, you only need to create the Workers# Compensation Association (0029) infotype if you want to use field HPS (Hazard Pay Scale) in infotype 0029 to override these settings for possible exceptions.
