Use
In this work step, you can set up reimbursement for employers# personnel expenses.
The Personnel Expenses Balance Act (AufAG) stipulates that employers are reimbursed by the health insurance funds for certain expenses that they incur during continued pay, maternity leave, or prohibition of employment.
According to sec. 1, par. 1 and 2 AAG, differentiation is made between the following employer expenses that are eligible for reimbursement:
- Regular pay during continued pay and the resulting employer's shares
- Supplement to maternity pay
- Regular pay during prohibition of employment and the resulting employer's shares

Requirements
Standard settings
The following models are available for absences:
Maternity protection
The model absence 0500 Maternity Protection is available for this purpose. This absence is entered in infotype Maternity Protection/Parental Leave (IT0080).
- Prohibition of employment
The model absence 0510 Prohibition of Employment is available for this purpose.
This absence is entered in infotype Maternity Protection/Parental Leave (IT0080). A special feature here is that the prohibition of employment can result in either a full release from work (saved in infotype 2001) or merely to a different occupation (saved in the Part-Time Work/Alternative Task infotype (0597)). You cannot select the Part-Time checkbox in infotype 0080 if a full release from work is the case.
- Sickness/health cure
Two model absences, 0200 Sickness with Medical Certificate and 0220 Health Cure, are provided for this purpose. The absences are saved in the Absences infotype (2001).

Activities
To enter the information for the employer, you can use subapplication SVER (Reimbursement of Employer Expenses) to use the functions described in the IMG activity Payroll Germany -> Personnel Area Reporting.
