In this step, you can create exemption reasons for each column in infotype 0013, Social Insurance. If an employee is marked as exempt from insurance in an SI column in this infotype, you should also specify an exemption reason in this column.

Standard settings

Two exemption reasons are already created in the SI column unemployment insurance:

  1. "8" for part-time employees and
  2. "9" for short-term employees.

These exemption reasons are analyzed in the DUEVO.

Recommendation

Please only create exemption reasons with alphanumeric characters.

Further notes

Apart from the above standard entries, exemption reasons are not evaluated in payroll accounting and in SI reports.
