In this step you create the same type of garnishability as is stored for the processing classes. The type you create in this step is used in infotype 0115, Garnishment wages D and has two characters.
Requirements
You should already have defined the type in the menu options "Define own garnishability for normal garnishments" and "Define own garnishability for preferred garnishments".
Standard settings
In the standard R/3 system, the values 1, 2 and 3 are used for the processing classes. The garnishability values for infotype 0115, Garnishment wages are prefixed by a zero, that is the values '01', '02' and '03' are used in the standard system.
Recommendation
Your values for the processing classes must start with a zero in the same way as the standard ones, so that the system can process the same program components as for the processing classes. For example: You have added the value 'X' to the processing class "garnishability for normal garnishments". You must add the prefix "0" when maintaining the garnishability for the Garnishment wages infotype. This results in the value '0X'.
Activities
Create the type of garnishability.
For the Text type, you may enter only 6, for the Text number, you enter one of the values 0X, 0Y or 0Z.
